Raceface makes great components. They are probably most known for their handlebars and cranks, but they actually make awesome grips as well.
When I saw the grips at first I was a little skeptical. I mean making grips with logos on seems a bit silly. But I tried the out any way.
The Strafe grips are a thicker diameter than most other grips. I measured them to be about 32-33 mm thick witch reminds of the ODI Rogue.
The grips are really simple. They sport the classic lock-on system, that we know from our ODI grips and the grips are manufactured by ODI as well. When that is said, we know that the grips are made by well known hands.
When they come right out of the box the grips are quite special. Unlike many other grips, were you have to ride with then quite a bit before they get a little sticky and soft, well, these grips come that way. It feels like they have already been out for a couple rides.
What I can conclude after riding with these grips for almost a year, is that I love these grips. For Downhill and All-mountain I am never going to use other grips than these. I haven't experience the same amounts of arm pump as I have before and who likes arm pump.
